Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Visualization Developer to join our Network Data Insights and Analytics team. The role will be responsible for identifying and mining network data repositories to create custom analytical tools for IT and Business stakeholders. The role will be instrumental to designing, developing and producing dashboards, NOC visibility enhancements, and presentation content for the Network Observability product line.  The developer will partner with the NOC to ensure effective performance measurements of critical network components, such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other core network infrastructure so that no potential issues go unnoticed.

Act as a senior member of a development team for delivering executive dashboards end-to-end with actionable insights.

Be an energetic, approachable self-starter who is passionate about data and data mining. 

Develop custom applications delivering visually appealing and organized network analytics across different personas which include executives, product leaders and engineers.

Develop and implement proactive activities such as automation, AIOps, and intelligent alerting mechanisms.

Qualification and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics or similar data science focus is preferred.

  • Familiarity with the components of a large global network infrastructure such as  Routers, switches, LAN/SD-WAN, Firewalls, etc.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring, reporting, and observability tools such as:   Sev-One, Logic Monitor, ThousandEyes, Moogsoft, Dynatrace, NetBrain, Elastic.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, Grafana Nobl9, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in building actionable dashboards in any of the BI Platforms.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries to understand or build dashboards.
  • Experience in embedding visualization into Web applications.
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
