Are you an experienced WordPress web developer? Do you want to be part of a fast-growing company? Do you want to work remote and have flexible working hours?

We are looking for a long-term web developer at Optimizee to update our WordPress websites from scratch and do monthly updates (full-time or part-time depending on agreement). The designer has finished the new design on Figma. The monthly updates will consist of both improvements and new features, a backlog which you get to be part of and influence. You will work independently with clear deadlines, but also be in daily/weekly contact with the team. As the Optimizee web developer there will be good opportunities to develop and grow with the company. We are growing quickly and hiring more people to launch more services and expand to more countries.

Optimizee help you make better financial decisions. Our team operate and optimizee comparison websites in personal finance. Our portfolio consists of, CryptoRunner.com (the biggest cryptocurrency comparison service in Northern Europe), InvestoRunner.com (the leading stock market comparison service in Scandinavia), and CreditRunner.com (a new comparison service for credit cards).

Responsibilities:

• Convert the Figma design into a pixel-perfect website
• Optimize for fast loading speeds and smooth navigation
• Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
• Integrate third-party APIs adhering to the best coding practices
• Research and suggest the most suitable tools, plugins and third-party softwares
• Implement future updates and maintenance
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Excellent English language and communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Solid experience of HTML, CSS, frontend, backend
• Proficiency using ACF and Gutenberg blocks
• Knowledge and understanding of SEO best practices
• Portfolio demonstrating successful WordPress projects
• Advantage Swedish language
