You’ll work closely with the Founder, a more experienced senior SEO AM, SEO PM, and Copywriter, and be pivotal in growing your career opportunity in the team as this agency scales.THE ROLEReporting to the agency Founder, as the less experienced SEO Account Manager you’ll still enjoy a great degree of independence in managing your work. You’ll be working towards becoming an expert in SEO for a broad range of both B2B and B2C clients. You’ll play a key role in delivering their search projects. You will adhere to carefully crafted processes while conducting your work. As you prove yourself capable your initiative will be welcomed. You’ll have a naturally curious mindset and be ambitious with your self development.With a straightforward approach to your work, you will care and offer mutual respect whilst enjoying the supportive nature of the team. Your flexible, yet strategic mindset will assist you in delivering rigorous client work and building strong relationships with all stakeholders.With the team working remotely, being responsive to online communication to ensure transparency is an absolute must. Armed with more than the fundamentals of SEO, you’ll be a hands-on SEO Account Manager. You’ll roll up your sleeves and be managing your own website changes, uploading content and image resizing and your day-to-day activities will include but not be limited to:
- On-page optimisation strategy including headings, content expansion, images, linking
- Competitor analysis
- Keyword research
- Technical SEO checks (including schema, website crawls and indexing issues)
- Emailing with clients about feature requests & SEO questions
- Monthly reporting and strategic planning tasks for best ROI
- Technical dev requirements and briefs to developers
- Project design review and suggestions including navigation structures
- Optimise Google My Business listing (Local SEO)
- Data analysis and insights
- Website SEO auditing
- Content strategy
- Creating content briefs & proofreading
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- 3+years SEO experience, ideally from an agency environment
- Accomplished in working directly with clients as a key contact on accounts, perhaps as SEO Project Manager or Senior SEO Executive
- Perfect written and verbal communication skills with the know-how to translate detailed knowledge into key takeaways for all involved on the project (clients, web developers, copywriters, assistants).
- Comprehension of site development from conception and wireframes to build and development
- Familiarity with how both front-end design and back end set-up can affect SEO performance
- Confident use of SEO tools: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, AWR, etc.
- Great organisational skills, attention to detail, presentation and accuracy when working with numbers, spreadsheets and reports. Confident using Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Word
- Advanced Excel skills are imperative (vlookups, pivot tables etc)
- Analytical with confidence in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console (GSC)
LOCATIONRegistered in Scotland, this agency offers UK remote work (WFH) to employees in UK time zone and employment law. As such you MUST ALREADY HAVE permit to work in the UK granted ie No visa sponsorship or applications from outside the UK, please.BENEFITS
