Service Writer | $20hr | 1st Shift | 2 Cycle Engine Knowledge

One of the leading distributors of landscaping and irrigation products is looking to bring a Service Writer on to their team. This will be a long term, temp to hire position. They want someone who is looking to join the team long term.

Service Writer Duties:

• Greeting customers and directing them to an available technician
• Consulting with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
• Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians when necessary
• Informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
• Assisting customer with deciding to fix their car through the dealership’s shop or trading the vehicle in
• Overseeing and managing the service center’s scheduling and workflow
• Equipment Assembly
• General Warehouse assistance (stocking, inventory, loading/unloading)
• 10-15 outgoing calls per day
• Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up

Schedule: 1st shift. 6:00am-4:30pm ( 8 hour shift) Monday-Friday (rotating Saturdays.)?

Service Writer Requirements:

• Prior Forklift Experience Required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Experience with 2 cycle engines
• Attention to detail
• Customer Service Experience

You will be successful in this role if you have the drive and energy to work hard.

Pay: $20 based on experience

Location: South Phoenix
