Probability and estimation theory, sampling distributions, hypotheses testing, multiple regression analysis. Students will learn the tools used in economics and finance to model and address randomness and uncertainty.Estimated course enrolment: 120Estimated TA support: 336 hours (contingent upon enrolment and funding)Class Schedule: Monday 11:00-13:00; Wednesday 15:00-17:00The delivery method for this course is currently in-person.   • PhD in Economics
  • Prior experience teaching this course (or a similar course) at the university level
  • Ability and experience teaching large classes

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching over four or more years

Description of duties:

  • Preparation and delivery of lectures in this course
  • Supervision of teaching assistant(s) assigned to course
  • Preparation, supervision and grading of tests and examinations in accordance with University regulations
  • Providing scheduled office hours for academic counseling of students
