A 3PL distributor in Garland is adding a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to their team!
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be
supporting the General Manager and Operations Manager. They are looking for
someone with strong problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, excellent organizational capabilities, and a good understanding of bills of lading and invoicing in an office role. Having experience in bookkeeping or accounts
receiving/accounts payable is a plus!
This full-time, temporary-to-hire job provides a
great opportunity to add to your skills and grow with this organization.
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Duties:
- Customer service and dispatching
- Coordinating Flow Between Drivers and Shippers
- Generating BOLs and invoicing
- Create and modify various
documents using MS Office - Auditing orders, locating product,
and supporting customer inquiries
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a shipping clerk, auditing, and receiving.
- Intermediate computer and math
skills - Strong communication,
multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills - Ability to navigate challenging
situations with customers
Reach Truck or Stand-Up forklift experience preferred but not required.
Pay: $19 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
