Shipping Clerk | Growth Opportunities

Do you have 2 years of experience working in a shipping or logistics role in a manufacturing environment as well as SAP experience?

An international metal processor has a Shipping Clerk opening on their team. This is more of an administrative and logistics role, and they’re looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn.

A snapshot of the job: You’d have a desk and work at an office space within their warehouse, and check in incoming trucks to offload materials. And you’d oversee operations and support the sales team to ensure orders are processed, inventory is received and shipments go out on time.

This job is full-time, temporary-to-hire and has a Monday-Friday day shift schedule. The company has over 95 locations in the U.S. and they’re continuing to grow. It’s a great opportunity to join a company with career growth and advancement.

Shipping Clerk Job Duties:

• Supporting Operations Team
• Directing delivery drivers to the correct unloading station
• Create and modify various documents using MS Office.
• Match shipments to purchase orders and receive into SAP

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Shipping Clerk Requirements:

• Strong Inventory Management Skills
• 2 years of experience in a logistics or manufacturing role
• SAP experience required
• Skilled working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: Range is between $41k – $54k 

• Depending upon experience
