It has strong links with the University of Southampton and is an integral subspecialty of the major trauma centre. The ward specialises in the perioperative care of patients requiring vascular surgery and multi-modal management of acute and chronic arterial and venous conditions. As regional centralisation of specialist services continues, the ward will become the hub unit for all complex arterial surgery in south Hampshire.WHAT YOULL DOYour skills as a senior role model will be pivotal in supporting the personal and professional development of the departments allied health professional and nursing team.
