Site Engineer / Senior Engineer – RailLocation: London / Home CountiesSalary: £50,000 – £60,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus car / van, fuel car and packageSummaryA successful railway infrastructure contractor specialising in civil, track installation & signalling is looking to hire an experience site / setting out engineer to join their team on rail projects in the South of EnglandKey Responsibilities:– Setting out and monitoring of works on site
– Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans
– Conduct site surveys and ensure the correct levels and measurements are established.
– Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification
– Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
– Raising of technical queries
– Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
– Implementing stringent quality control measures through regular inspections, ensuring that all project aspects meet the high standards set by both industry regulations and client specifications.Requirements:– A degree or HND in a relevant subject would be desirable.
– Previous experience working within the railway environment
– Pway / Civils experience
– Proficiency in using total stations, GPS equipment, and other surveying tools
– PTS/CSCS card
