Apply today to join the team at First Onsite.A Day in the Life of a Site SupervisorAs a Site Supervisor at First Onsite, you’re stepping into a pivotal role where your positive attitude and leadership counts.From the moment you review the project schedule, you’re in control. With a clear understanding of the tasks at hand, you coordinate activities, resources, and equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly. The Project Managers and Operations Manager trust you to oversee the site, and you deliver by meticulously planning every detail, leaving nothing to chance.Throughout the day, you manage multiple sites, juggling administrative tasks with on-site supervision. You monitor your team’s efficiency, review and authorize timesheets, and ensure every aspect of the project aligns with the required scope before signing off on the day’s work.As the day ends, you reflect on the progress made, the challenges overcome, and the goals achieved. Reporting outcomes to the Operations Manager, you take pride in knowing your efforts are crucial to the success of First Onsite.This is the life of a Site Supervisor at First Onsite-a role where you lead teams, ensure quality, and drive success in every project. Customer Service is key.Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience and knowledge in emergency mitigation and restoration processes and project scheduling is a MUST (Lead Water Damage Technician Experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/foreman role within the restoration, emergency, or related industry, with a proven track record of managing crews/trades
- In-depth understanding of reconstruction practices for properties affected by water, wind, mold, fire, and vandalism damage
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes and related electrical, plumbing, or mechanical regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Xactimate is an asset
- Basic accounting skills, including invoicing, billing, and general math
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a commitment to customer service excellence
- Ability to perform physical labor, including material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, crawlspaces)
