Work you’ll do
- Design, architect, and implement cloud solutions.
- Configure and manage cloud resources, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance and security issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues
- Provide support for the Authority to Operate (ATO) process, including security assessment, artifact creation, development of data flow diagrams, failover/contingency plans, security impact assessments and system security plans.
- Perform requirements gathering, analysis, vendor capabilities comparison, cost analysis and customer briefings.
- Serve as primary escalation point for all security incidents, perform determination of impact level and reporting to leadership in support of agency enterprise situational awareness model.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture models for the client to host test, development, and production environments
- Plan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud, adhering to the client’s technical and business requirements
- Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems
- Lead the development of technical artifacts including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document, etc.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- 10+ years of experience with Azure and AWS cloud architecture; specifically with VPCs and VNETs.
- 5+ years of experience within design and implementation of security policies and procedures for the cloud environment.
- 5 + years of experience within a Project/ Program Leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure.
Preferred:
- Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
- Experience in mobile and endpoint security
- Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ $159,375 to $292,188.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
