Are you ready to join the Fearless?Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an energetic Social Media Manager to join our new 18Montrose team in London based at our brand new store on Regents Street with some travel to our Soho office.Working closely with our Social Strategist and wider content creation team the Social Media Manager will execute the strategy across 18Montrose’s social channels. Key objectives will include reach, site traffic, engagement and paid CTR. They will ensure that all communication and content reflect the brand’s personality, deliver on key marketing objectives and leverage culture to drive relevance for our brands. Key channels will include Instagram, TikTok & Facebook in year one.This role is right for you if..
- You are fashion obsessed and up for collaborating with the biggest brands in the world such as Nike, Stone Island, adidas, CP Company PUMA, New Balance to name a few.
- You are looking to continuously innovate across new and existing social channels constantly optimizing through test-and-learn methods.
- Are aware that this is not a traditional 9-5 role you must be open and motivated to work around key cultural moments that sometimes will sit outside of office hours with European and international travel included.
What will you be doing in your role?
- Content Creation and Management: Develop, curate, and manage content for our social media platforms shooting a large majority of the content from our brand new Regent Street store.
- Attend shoots with talent to capture social first photography and video content.
- Strategy Development: Create and implement social media strategies to align with business goals.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns.
- Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement around relevant topics.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments (marketing, PR, customer service) to coordinate efforts.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices whilst sharing insight & ideas with wider teams.
- Develop engaging copy that grabs attention both in long and short forms.
- Be our brand’s social media presence and establish our tone of voice taking direction from our new brand positioning and evolution.
- Working with the paid social team to execute paid-for campaigns, distributing content across the platforms where the consumer lives.
Qualifications
- Social Media and Community Management experience – with a passion for Streetwear/Sneakers
- Shows meticulous organisation and timekeeping skills within a fast-paced and energetic team that juggle multiple projects and tasks
- Attention to detail from a creative and copywriting point of view
- Ability to understand and translate brand direction and purpose into social ideas and content.
- Ability to identify relevant cultural insights and apply these to your creative thinking.
- Deep understanding of how people engage with social platforms, and how behaviour is changing.
- Ability to translate data into insights to inform creative strategy
- Ability to develop inspirational creative briefs for the creative content team
