Opportunity awaits! We are hiring a Social Security Administration (SSA) Programs Administrator (Program Analyst 3) to join our team! In this position you will plan, manage, and evaluate SSA Cost Reimbursement and Ticket to Work Federal Programs for Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation. You will give consultative advice, training and leadership on program content, project development and get results through cooperative efforts. In addition, the SSA Program Administrator develops standards that provide for methods of implementing new or existing services into the network of federal and state programs. Apply today!
Summary of Duties
As a Social Security Administration (SSA) Programs Administrator you will:

Consult and advise on SSA programs for national, state, and local agencies for business practices, policies, and procedures.

Coordinate agency database systems for compliance and accuracy for federal data exchange.

Provide data analysis to the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Executive Team, The VR State Rehabilitation Council, other states to assist with their programs and legislative review, SSA audits and Secretary of State program and budget audits.

Administer case file reviews to retain financial documentation required for SSA claim justifications and pre-payment audits.

Advise, interpret, and consult VR and ODHS programs on SSA programs related law, processes, policies, and practices for coordination between state and federal regulation compliance.

Develop new methods or standards that guide program operations regarding the SSA programs within and outside the ODHS agency.

Coordinate services with Social Security Administration with the Cost Reimbursement & Ticket to Work (TTW) programs is an essential function as VR is the designated state unit and federally required to presume all SSA beneficiaries eligible for VR services.
Minimum Qualifications
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position, or you must have an appropriate form of transportation.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years experience coordinating or administering a program
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the policy framework and service delivery of the Vocational Rehabilitation program.

In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Social Security Administration (SSA) Cost Reimbursement and Ticket to Work Programs.

Technical proficiency skills are essential, including developing and maintaining spreadsheets and database systems.

Exceptional verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.

Experience in providing technical assistance and training, as a subject matter expert.

Working Conditions

Hybrid or Remote work condition offered for candidates who live in Oregon. Majority of work may be completed from a remote work location, with occasional in-office work site at the SSA Program Office located at 1040 Harlow Road Springfield, OR 97477.

When work is completed in-office, it is an open workspace environment with moderate noise level and distractions.

Limited physical exertion is required.

Travel throughout state to meet, consult, provide training, etc. is required.

Overnight and weekend travel and evening work may be necessary on occasion, as may travel in inclement weather.
