How to contribute to our vision
For our Platform Integration Team within the SW Platform Engineering in Brande and Copenhagen, Denmark, we are looking for a talented Software Automation Tester.
In the Platform Integration team, we fulfill the role of a SW Platform Engineering following the SAFe/SCRUM framework. This means that we are responsible for creation and maintenance of automated tests.
We are responsible for the definition, implementation, and operation of all Platform/Integration level test automation, thus ensuring the high SW quality required by our System Test teams. We use BDD as our requirement and test process, to help the definition and creation of our repository of automated tests.
As a Software Automation Tester, work tasks will include:
Definition and creating of new automated tests
Maintenance of exiting tests
Improving our large automation framework to ensure we always have state-of-art technologies and practices to ensure high stability and short feedback
You will be working on automation at the API level while addressing very different areas: deployment, performance, stability and security, and very different products: from servers to embedded controllers to network and HW devices.
With your deep knowledge of test principles, you will refine the acceptance criteria and challenge the testability of the relevant products
You will analyze failed test cases in our complex system and document the results in our defect tracking system. You will verify the solution to these defects.
What you need to make a difference:
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
A candidate with an academic degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or Data Science. Ideally, you have taken courses or certifications in software testing like ISQTB. It is essential you have knowledge and experience with Jira and Python. It would be considered an advantage if you have experience with GitLab and Jenkins.
In addition, you should have:
A development background with focus on software testing and quality assurance
Experience with test automation in an agile environment (SCRUM/SAFe)
Strong analytical skills and ability to understand the features of a complex system of systems
Good people skills and ability to seek the information you need in the organization both when analyzing new features but also when analyzing failed test cases
Experience in creation and maintenance of automated tests in Python
Experience in working in ALM (Agile Lifecycle Management) tools such as Jira
Experience in working with CI (Continuous Integration) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
Understanding of branching processes and strategies
Experience with implementation, analysis in Kubernetes, Docker
It is important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Danish language skills would be considered an advantage.
