You’ll work with other Software Engineers, Product Managers, Solution Analysts and end users to problem solve and building software solutions, based on Simplyhealth’s product priorities.In role, you’ll

• Engineer software to meet user needs
• Follow best practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines
• Write clean, secure and well-tested code
• Operate the services you build and identify issues in production
• Confidently converse and input into squad and team ceremonies
• Have a personal impact on the goals set for the wider team, and build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders

About YouYou will be a Software Engineer or Developer with:

• Proven experience in building software in a modern technology environment
• Proficiency in front end and back end JavaScript frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, NodeJS)
• Proficiency in development workflow and tooling (e.g. continuous integration/deployment, GitFlow, GitHub)
• Familiarity with modern software architecture principles and design patterns
• The initiative to contribute proactively with other engineering teams and business users, in order to solve problems and build solutions
• Familiarity with collaboration and delivery tools like Jira and Confluence

Our dream candidate might also have

• Current experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Familiarity with coaching and teaching other engineers
