Software Engineer – Full-time Intern Conversion

**This FTE conversion requisition is ONLY for current Oracle PD interns to be rehired for full-time roles**

 

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

 

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

 

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

What You’ll Bring (Objective Minimum Qualifications):

To be considered for a Software Engineer position at Oracle, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript.

• Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field by August 2025.
• Are proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in one or more of these programming languages: Java, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Scala
• Have completed coursework, projects, internships, and or research in 3 or more of the following:
  • Algorithms and Data Structures
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Big Data
  • Database
  • Machine Learning
  • Object-Oriented Programming
  • Operating Systems
  • Software Programming
  • Web Development
  • Micro-Services Architecture
  • Container Architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • User Interface Design
• Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
• Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.

Preferred Qualification:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
