You will be engaged throughout all phases of the software development life cycle and use your drive for technology and quality to help us exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software architecture that meets functional and non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance, etc.).
  • Participate in code quality efforts, including coding standards, and code/architecture reviews.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure, third-party APIs, and legacy systems.
  • Constantly help the team improve quality and productivity, while simplifying existing code.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of implemented features, design principles, and coding standards.
  • Participate in an Agile environment collaborating with Product Managers, QA and Documentation to ship high-quality software on time.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose adoption where relevant to enhance the system’s capabilities.

AvailabilityThis is a hybrid role, with one days in office, to facilitate brainstorming and team building. Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BCQualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct hands-on working experience in an Agile environment.
  • The capacity to work, troubleshoot, and solve problems independently.
  • Solid development experience with C++, C# and .NET technologies.
  • Good understanding of Oracle/Postgres or other relational databases.
  • Professional knowledge of OOP and enterprise design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with scaled web application development, service-oriented, or micro-services architecture.

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Dental or Healthcare industry knowledge is an asset but not mandatory
  • Experience with .NET Standard, .NET Core and .NET 5.0 or superior
  • Experience writing Win32 C/C++ applications with OWLNext, MFC or similar

The posted range for this position is between CAD $90,000 – CAD $110,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to experienced in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.Our benefits also include:
