• Savings Migration and Card Migration experience
• Expertise with Transformation migration skillset
• Leading architectural design within a business area impacting customers and colleagues
• Creating an architectural vision aligned with business needs, providing technical solutions for customers and colleagues
• Owning the technical solution, providing end-to-end assurance satisfying business needs
• Acting as the technology expert trusted by the business area to realize their aspirations
• Challenging the status quo with new thinking
• Providing a fresh perspective to protect the brand and re-energize Barclays with technology at its core
• Continuously collaborating with a team of like-minded architects to find the right technology solutions for business areas
• Evidence of leadership over a team of architects, providing direction and delivering architectural solutions
• Track record of managing large-scale changes and delivering effective solutions
• Managing stakeholder relationships at CTO and CIO levels
• Solid understanding of Domain Driven Design methodology
• Skills That Will Help You In The Role:
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience in managing risk and working within a controlled environment
• Degree of commercial acumen, making commercially sensible decisions
• Exceptional financial services product consumer knowledge
• Specialized, deeper financial services product business process knowledge
• Specialized, deeper knowledge in integration patterns, especially in a Cloud Native Streaming Domain Driven Design world
• Specialized, deeper knowledge in AWS Stack
• Specialized, deeper knowledge in Data Platforms, especially in a Cloud Native Streaming Domain Driven Design world
• Knowledge and experience in architecting Digital Journey for customers and colleagues (from a tech rather than UI perspective)
