Rotations include AMU, Respiratory, Medicine for older people, Hepatology, Gastroenterology and General medicine.Division B (Medicine and Elderly Care) is the largest clinical pharmacy team in the Trust, covering 20 inpatient wards, the emergency department and several outpatient areas.You will become part of a well-integrated and highly valued team, working closely alongside consultants, junior doctors and ward nurses.You will be well supported by a team of medicines management technicians and senior assistant technical officers (SATOs) to deliver clinical pharmacy services to the wards.You will be warmly welcomed into the Division B pharmacy team where you will have the opportunity to meet regularly with the pharmacists, technicians and SATOs to have your say in the strategic and day-to-day operation of the pharmacy service to Division B. We are proud of our use of technology to communicate with each other and the wards, and regularly try new ways to make small improvements in the way we work and the service we deliver. You will be encouraged to support these service developments and run projects of your own.This is a vacancy for a full time band 7 clinical pharmacist- 1 in 5 late nights until 7pm- 1 in 6 weekends (working either Sat or Sun)- All staff are required to contribute to extended hours, weekends & bank holidays as part of core hours. This includes general dispensary duties such as dispensing prescriptions and clinical pharmacy duties.
