Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, the Senior Analyst, Real Estate is responsible for analyzing site plans, reviewing, handling and negotiating lease renewals, and assisting in advancing projects through the municipal process. The job requires travel (approx. 15% of the time) throughout all major Western Canada markets and occasionally to Toronto.Accountabilities:
- Negotiate rental rates for up-coming lease renewals for all Loblaw banners;
- Develop relationships with developers and landlords across Western Canada;
- Assist in the preparation approval committee presentations;
- Assist the team to prepare real estate contracts, Letters of Intent, Offers to Lease and Lease Amendments;
- Assist the Director of Real Estate with new store leases and purchase and sale agreements;
Role Requirements:
- Post Secondary Education is required;
- Experience in commercial real estate industry is helpful;
- One to two years’ experience in negotiation is considered an asset;
- Ability to work optimally with multiple teams;
- Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills;
- Phenomenal communicator (both oral and written);
- Excellent self-starter and independent worker;
