Job Title: Senior Developer – Python, SQL, EMR, AWSLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to building high-performance solutions. This role will focus on Python development, SQL database management, and working with Amazon EMR (Elastic MapReduce) and AWS services to support scalable and efficient cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, skilled in coding and debugging complex systems, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Python Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Python.
• SQL Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to interact with databases, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Cloud Solutions with AWS: Utilize AWS services (including EMR, S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.) to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Data Processing: Work with large-scale data sets using EMR and AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that align with business objectives.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve complex coding and integration issues in a timely manner.
• Automation & Optimization: Automate processes and improve system performance and reliability using modern tools and frameworks.
• Documentation & Reporting: Provide clear documentation for the development, deployment, and maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development and SQL.
• Skills:

• Proficiency in Python (with frameworks like Flask/Django preferred).
• Strong experience with SQL, including complex queries and database management.
• Expertise in Amazon EMR and working with other AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda).
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable solutions.
• Experience in data processing and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Certifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data engineering or ETL processes.
• Knowledge of machine learning and data analysis tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
