Sr Drupal Technical Architect-TorontoJob Description:Mandatory Skills:

• Expertise in Drupal 8/9/10, including Entities, Fields, Views, Menus, Routing API, Page Controllers, Forms API, Plugin API, Event API, Database API, and the Theme System.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, and Cloud technologies.
• Strong architecture solution skills, CMS/Ecommerce domain expertise, and integration skills.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, especially in crisis situations.
• Hands-on knowledge of best practices in coding and release management.
• Proficient with DevOps, automation, and Test-Driven Development (TDD), including tools like Vagrant, Docker, and Compose.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, security standards, and other compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of operating system hardening and Drupal/MySQL hardening.
• Ambitious, agile, and a quick learner.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Honest, dependable, and reliable.

Other Skills:

• Experience with Jenkins and configuration/release management tools like Git and SVN.

Experience:

• 13+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with Drupal.
• Hands-on experience in designing, solutioning, and developing websites that support multiple browsers, devices, and languages.
• Successfully designed, developed, and maintained at least 4–5 websites, including 1–2 large Drupal-based websites.
• Proficiency with tools like Layout Builder, Paragraphs, Views, Panels, Features, Drush, and Coder.
• Ability to identify and select appropriate Drupal modules based on requirements.
• Expertise in creating, tuning, and maintaining high-traffic and high-performance sites.
• Experience working with Drupal in cloud environments such as Amazon AWS or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in implementing caching and performance optimization techniques.
• Skilled in setting up and configuring Apache, PHP, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, or CVS.
• Experience with Agile development methods.
• Proficient in estimating total effort for website development.
• Ability to size infrastructure based on non-functional requirements.
• Knowledge of OOP design patterns and architectural/integration design patterns.
• Experience with estimation techniques and resource scheduling for cost estimations.
• Expertise in preparing RFPs, including solutioning, scope definition, assumptions, and risk identification.
• Good to Have: Knowledge of Acquia products like Acquia Cloud and Acquia Site Factory.
