About this role – Reporting & Data Analytics:
Gartner is looking for a well-rounded Senior Financial Analyst who can provide critical business partner support to our Executive Services business units. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Executive and Operating Committee members with metrics reporting, data insights, budgets, and forecasts.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with senior leaders and their leadership teams to ensure accurate and timely metrics reporting and analytics.
- Provide exceptional analytical and business support to Executive Services business units, equipping them with the insights and analysis needed for informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, automate data extraction, and develop new metrics.
- Design and develop reports and dashboards using data visualization tools, and conduct thorough data analysis.
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes using the planning tool.
What you’ll need:
- Four plus years working for a large organization delivering data insights/business analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or similar area required
- Master’s degree in business administration or data analytics preferred
- Experience in business partnering and executive communication
- Hands-on experience with designing and developing dashboards using self-service analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) a must
- Proficiency in SQL preferred
- Experience with scripting and data analysis languages, such as Python and R a plus
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications required, Oracle & Hyperion a plus

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76,000 USD – 106,260 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
