AWS is seeking an exceptional technical leader to manage and develop a team of Solutions Architects specializing in AI/ML solutions for enterprise customers across the United Kingdom.Role Overview:
Lead a team of Solutions Architects focused on helping UK enterprises build and scale AI/ML solutions on AWS. You’ll be instrumental in driving the adoption of AWS AI/ML services while helping organizations achieve their digital transformation goals through innovative AI solutions.In this role, you will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right as well as effective in shaping the customer-facing and technical skills of your team. In addition to technical knowledge and leadership experience, it is essential to have a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including machine learning operations (MLOps), modern AI frameworks, and enterprise-grade implementation strategies. We are looking for technical leaders who are passionate about working with organizations to help them innovate and transform through AI/ML solutions.You’ll work directly with a diverse range of customers to help them make optimal technical decisions in their AI/ML journey, balancing innovation with practical constraints and governance requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to build enduring relationships with these organizations and establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor in the AI/ML space. You will also need a thorough understanding of the unique challenges organizations face in adopting and scaling AI/ML solutions, including data strategy, model governance, responsible AI practices, and how to effectively integrate these technologies into existing business processes.You will help team members develop their AI/ML expertise on AWS, including proficiency with services like SageMaker, Bedrock, and other AI technologies. You’ll mentor them in developing their speaking, writing, presentation, and executive interaction skills, particularly in communicating complex AI/ML concepts to various stakeholders. You will need to be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other departments within AWS such as our Services Teams, Marketing, Business Development, and the broader Solutions Architecture Organization, as well as representing your team to executive management. Success in this role requires staying current with rapidly evolving AI/ML technologies while maintaining a strong focus on practical business outcomes and customer success.Key job responsibilities
*Lead the AI/ML Solutions Architecture team, ensuring customer success in building and implementing AI/ML solutions on AWS, leveraging best practices and modern architectures
· Partner with sales and business development teams to formulate and execute strategies driving successful AI/ML adoption and outcomes for enterprise customers
*Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects with strong AI/ML expertise
*Partner with UK enterprise sales teams to drive AI/ML adoption and business growth across key industry sectors
*Provide technical guidance on complex AI/ML architectures, MLOps, and enterprise-grade implementation strategies
*Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and technical leaders as a trusted advisor
*Guide enterprises in making strategic technical decisions that align with their business objectives and compliance requirements
*Foster collaboration with UK industry partners and system integrators to drive customer successAbout the team

– Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
– Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, CodeWhisperer, etc.)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
