DESCRIPTIONProject Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to customers and communities around the world. The Project Kuiper Partner Marketing team is looking for a talented individual to lead marketing partnerships in Europe. This role is responsible for developing the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives across retailer, sponsorship, distributor, and other partner channels in the region. A successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at understanding how businesses work across the region. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and adept at building and executing effective marketing initiatives that drive awareness, subscription growth, and scale partner marketing programs. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.Key job responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and measure the effectiveness of partner marketing campaigns that drive awareness and acquisition for Project Kuiper.
- Develop insight-driven, partner-facing narratives that highlight the mutual benefits of partnering with Project Kuiper.
- Lead senior-level retailer partner engagements and support quarterly business reviews.
- Work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth and scale) and at the tactical level (managing marketing campaign execution, planning in-store fixtures, and solving problems).
- Leverage internal Amazon marketing channels, as well as external marketing channels.
- Collaborate closely with business, product, and other marketing teams to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects.
- Work closely with Consumer business teams to identify the strategic partner roadmap, define top performing metrics, and deliver to a plan.
- Assess customer behaviors and the needs of business and product teams to build an active pipeline that supports market awareness, acquisition growth, and customer engagement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience in marketing or marketing research
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
– Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
– Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
– MBA
– Multiple years of experience in partner management
