DESCRIPTIONBrand Innovation Lab is looking for a talented, passionate Senior Producer with a track record of delivery, ownership, and support of award-wining, on-time, and on-budget executions of video projects supporting our Prime Video Sponsorship content and integrated marketing campaigns in European locales. The Senior Producer will be part of the Premium Content Production team and help scope, win and execute unique deliverables for our advertising customers. They will lead strategically in scoping video production projects in terms of ballpark, feasibility, logistics, and creative vendor resourcing. An ability to plan ahead and have alternate production solutions is a must. The Senior Producer will join a supportive team that thrives on true collaboration, and encourages/rewards taking initiative creatively and strategically.Key job responsibilities
– Become the Creative Directors’, Art Directors’, and Copywriter’s close partner. You are in the loop early within the pitch phase, contributing production ideas and shaping the production deliverables based on the CD’s, AD’s, and Writer’s vision, the client brief, and timeline/budget realities.
– Confidently plan production logistics and scope production (content) deliverables on complex projects: including production budgets, detailed timelines, and deliverables tech specs.
– Identify, vet, hire, and manage all 3P production vendors for any given production, regardless of scope and complexity.
– Manage the entire production process through final delivery of assets: 3P production vendor bidding, pre-production (casting, location scouting, set designs, etc.), production (live action shoots, animation, CG development), and post-production (offline and online editing, scoring, sound mixing, etc.)
– Work internally with Legal, Finance, Ad Policy, and Amazon PR teams to create scalable processes and drive best practices for creating, clearing, and publishing custom content in Europe.
– Successfully navigate EU content and broadcast processes and regulations.
– Have an understanding of production pricing benchmarks in European locales.
– Have an understanding of legally engaging talent and social media influencers in Europe, as well as licensing music or any other content.
– Drive cohesion and influence cross-team collaboration between various stakeholders, both within Amazon and beyond – to successfully deliver on your productions.
– Have an understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and, ideally, a passion for film editing, music, and/or any other aspect of filmmaking.
– Anticipate and effectively mitigate problems; and consistently communicate to stakeholders about updates on progress, relevant delays or issues and budget implications.
– Establish and actively participate in creating department mechanisms and SOPs.About the team
The Amazon Brand Innovation Lab is a global team of Creative Directors, Art Directors, Writers, Program Managers, Design Technologists, and Events/Sponsorship managers. With 10 offices in 8 countries, Brand Innovation Lab is focused on becoming the go-to creative partner for global brands. The Premium Content Production team is a dedicated team of Creatives, Producers, Solutions Managers and other functions specializing in creating award winning content on behalf of priority advertisers for Amazon Ads.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience in driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
– Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
– Experience in managing video productions in Europe and an interest in technology including AI.
– An online portfolio that demonstrates past experience.
– Experience working with named talent.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
– Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
– Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
– Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
– Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
