Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Product Line Manager for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the Machining industrySr. Product Line Manager SummaryPay: $65K – 75K per year1st Shift: 6a-4p Mon – Fri / Hours may vary due to production needsSummary: The Sr. Product Line Manager specializes in the product lifecycle and continuous improvement development. The position is responsible for designing strategic goals, driving the product to success and ensuring profitability. Product line managers have full ownership and control over their product line portfolio. They oversee production from the initial prototype stage through manufacturing and phase out.Responsibilities:

• Responsible of meeting product line functional performance, address all product quality issues, internal action requests, and a external customer engineering change notices.
• Drive development of productivity improvement within their product lines.
• Ensure quality standards are implement and met throughout the production.
• Monitor the product line including profitability, quality, testing requirements, and compliance to customer’s needs.
• Demonstrate advanced or expert level engineering knowledge as it relates to product manufacturability.
• Ability to be a technical resource for other PLM’s in the group.

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience with CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, Welding, Finishing, and Assembly a plus.
• Continuous Improvement mindset in all aspects of work habits; GD&T preferred.
• Knowledge in Solid works preferred.
