If so, then we want to hear from you!As a seasoned and forward-thinking Sr. Product Manager, you will join our Cross-Border Products (XBP) team at Amazon Canada. This team focuses on maximizing the selection available through cross-border fulfillment channels, improving in-stock levels, enhancing delivery speed, and reducing cost-to-serve. In this role, you will collaborate with executive leaders and stakeholders across global supply chain, transportation, operations, retail, compliance, and global product and tech teams. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute high-impact, innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory placement and cross-border transfer. The goal is to drive an expanded selection, faster delivery, and cost reduction. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment and be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically by diving deeply into business and technical domains to unlock opportunities and course-correct as required. You will need to be comfortable interfacing and influencing across a variety of functional and technical teams, and with individuals at senior levels. As this is a highly visible and impactful position, you must have the experience and capability to prepare high-quality documentation for senior executives. Excellent written, verbal communication and data analytical skills are a necessity.Who You Are:
- A results-oriented product or program leader with 7+ years of supply chain experience.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies, leading from ideation to launch.
- Strong understanding of product and program management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively connect with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Adept at navigating complex problems, prioritizing effectively, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement.
- A self-directed and proactive individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A day in the life
What You’ll Do:
- Create and own the vision and execution of improving efficiency and effectiveness of inventory placement and cross-border transfer with a goal to drive selection, speed, and cost reduction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain experts, retail partners, compliance specialists and software development.
- Autonomously drive actionable plans, experiments, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead new projects and initiatives, managing technical and business needs, to driving performance.
- Establish creative methods to track and measure the impact of product initiatives.
- Navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering results under pressure.
- Contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
