DescriptionSmall but well-established CPA Firm located in Port Coquitlam is looking to hire a Staff Accountant permanently. If you have a little hands-on experience and are looking to get your accounting career going, this is your opportunity.Location – Port Coquitlam with transit access, 100% in-officeSalary range: $45,000 – 50,000 + 10% Bonus, Paid Vacation, Benefits, Tuition SupportResponsibilities:

• Audit engagements
• Review engagements
• Notice to reader engagements
• Corporate tax return preparation
• Personal tax return preparation
• Trust and estate tax return preparation
• Monthly/annual bookkeeping including payroll and any/all regulatory filings

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• CPA student, or student almost ready to enter the CPA program (late 4th year)
• Able to work independently or part of a team
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Organization skills including the ability to manage multiple engagements at once
• Attention to detail
• Critical thinking
• Strong computer skills; including Microsoft office knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, CaseWare and/or TaxPrep are an asset but not required at once
