A vacancy has arisen in Tarvit ward Adamson Hospital for a registered nurse.Tarvit ward is a 22 bedded unit. 4 of which are specialist palliative care beds.
You are expected to have a passion for care and medicine of the older adult with a focus on rehabilitation, recovery and adaptation. Experience in delivering a high level of person centred care and knowledge of complex discharge planning are required. This role involves contributing to the improvement of a health and safety culture to prevent and reduce risks in the delivery of care to our patients. Interpersonal skills, I.T and communication skills at different levels are essential for this post. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. Your offer/contract of employment will therefore reflect the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
