Staff Nurse

You will be working with a small team of nursing and medical staff in an outpatient setting. The unit is an emergency, ambulatory attending unit. We take direct referrals from GPs and A&E for diagnosis and treatments. We are involved in venepuncture, CT and Ultra sound Scans, Cannulation , delivering varies infusions and Lumbar Punctures.
Patients can be seen as a one stop clinic or return for further investigations and resultsYou will also be expected to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.Candidates should be organised and self motivated.We are looking for someone who can work on their own and as part of a team with good written and oral communication skills.Skills required are Cannulation, Venepuncture , Delivering IV medication and experience of PICC line and midline care essentialFor informal enquires contact Valerie Turner, Senior Charge Nurse on 01592 729951 ext 29951NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. Your offer/contract of employment will therefore reflect the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
