Première Moisson manufactures and sells bakery, patisserie and charcuterie products using an artisanal approach and wholesome ingredients. We employ over 1,200 people and have more than 20 bakeries in Quebec and Ontario.We are currently looking for a Store Manager.You will be responsible for the smooth running of all store operations, optimizing store profitability, managing human resources, and ensuring that standards of quality, merchandising, visual presentation, hygiene, sanitation, occupational health and safety, and human resources policies issued by Première Moisson and by the governments related to his or her department are respected and applied. You will also be called upon to carry out the tasks assigned to Assistant Store Managers, Team Leaders, Sales Advisors and Housekeeping.Job status: Permanent – Full timeBenefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct and control all store operations (purchasing, inventory, cashiering, costs, etc.).
  • Manage staff (hiring, training, evaluation, supervision).
  • Ensure that staff provide outstanding customer service.
  • Advise, serve and maintain professional customer relations.
  • Optimize store profitability.
  • Ensure staff compliance with product marketing, quality, hygiene and sanitation standards set by Première Moisson.
  • Ensure that staff apply health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of retail food store or restaurant operations (understanding of revenues and costs)
  • Relevant knowledge of sales techniques, customer service and human resources management
  • French spoken and written – Mandatory
  • Spoken English is an asset
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organized, dynamic leader, focused on customer satisfaction, results and teamwork
  • High degree of autonomy
  • Respect for standards and rules
  • Punctual
