ShareLocated in Edmonton, ABSalary: $24 – $27/hourAn Edmonton client seeks a Store Set Up/Order Desk to join their team.Store Set Up/Order Desk Highlights:· Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Store Setup / Order Desk Associate to join our team. This role involves assisting customers in finding products, managing store operations, and handling various front desk responsibilities, including cash handling and checkout. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using various types of equipment and technology to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.· Help customers locate products within the store and provide product information.· Offer recommendations and assistance with product selection based on customer needs.· Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail.· Store Operations:· Support general store operations, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness.· Assist with the setup and arrangement of store merchandise.· Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about stock needs.· Operate the front desk checkout area, including processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.· Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment securely.· Answer customer inquiries at the order desk, both in-person and over the phone.· Manage customer orders, returns, and exchanges.· Use hand trucks to move heavy or bulky items as needed.· Operate computers for various tasks, including processing transactions and managing customer orders.· Communicate with customers and team members via email.· Utilize Excel and Word for record-keeping, inventory tracking, and reporting.· Operate printers for printing receipts, order confirmations, and other documents.· Use credit card terminals for processing card payments.· Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.· Experience with cash handling and operating a Point of Sale (POS) system.· Basic proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.· Ability to operate and maintain various types of equipment, including hand trucks and credit card terminals.· Good organizational skills and attention to detail.· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Store Set Up/Order Desk Hours & Wage· Monday to Friday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm· $24 – $27/hourAbout Us:Express Employment Professionals works with job seekers to help them find the right job based on their skills and experience.
