The postholder will work in close partnership with our hiring departments, leading the design and delivery of recruitment solutions, and sharing recruitment skills and expertise with our hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment for the organisation.About the roleThis is a new role within our recruitment service with the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead on the development and delivery of creative recruitment strategies and solutions
  • Contribute to the improvement of recruitment related operational activities.
  • Work collaboratively with hiring departments and leaders across the organisation to deliver effective recruitment and to contribute to continuous improvement of our recruitment service.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to design and implement long term strategies to address recruitment challenges in skill shortage professions
  • Lead or support projects and initiatives that will improve recruitment outcomes and attract talent

About youTo achieve in this role, you’ll be a highly experienced recruitment professional with:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering effective recruitment services and successfully developing resourcing solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment related legislation, initiatives and best practice, EDI in recruitment, and their practical application
  • Extensive strategic recruitment experience with the ability to lead on, and deliver service improvements
  • Experience of designing and delivering effective training, workshops, coaching and mentoring, to deliver change and improvement to recruitment services
  • Conscientious, diligent, and committed to ensuring recruitment is equitable, with appointments based on merit
  • A strong understanding and commitment to EDI and how this is translated into recruitment policy, process and activity
  • A commitment to putting equity at the heart of our recruitment and committed to tackling discrimination in all forms
