Job SummaryMandate:
As a unit within the Division of Student Affairs, the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) is responsible for providing institutional leadership in the delivery of a comprehensive student-focused accessible learning model and delivers training and education to further the University’s commitment to provide equal access to all academic programs. CAL is a core academic support unit for both students and faculty and contributes to the recruitment and retention of students and fosters services and programs that value academic success, inclusion, accessibility, and universally designed environments.Reporting to the Manager, CAL Assessment Program, the Supervisor, CAL Assessment Program, is responsible for supervision of front-line exam staff, developing policies and procedures supporting the day-to-day operations of the CAL Assessment Program, and supporting the Manager in accommodated assessment programming.Objectives:
There may be times where working hours extend to evenings/weekends to meet service plan goals at periods of peak demand, or to participate in employee training and external events.Job RequirementsThis position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an area related to this position , plus two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in a post-secondary setting. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
