Job Description:As part of the Supplier Satisfaction and Quality team, within our Europe Global Supply Chain entity, you will report to the Customer satisfaction & Quality VP and join a multicultural team based accross Europe. You will be directly responsible of securing the right quality level from supplier processes and parts. You will secure a strong coordination between suppliers and factories, making customer satisfaction the main priority. The right quality of parts to start production process will require strong knowledge in supplier quality, supplier management and development. You will act as people manager for a team of 12 supplier engineers based in France, Hungary and other european countries.General Responsibilities / MissionsYou will contribute to improve our supplier management through an end to end approach, securing reliability and respect of the supplier quality management processes. This will require:– Collaboration with the different organizations through out the supply chain : factories, suppliers, planning and procurement, as well as the different lines of business.– Definition of strategy and priorities for suppliers, to secure the right and expected quality level.– Challenge the current supplier set up and secure supplier development plants where needed.– Define improvement actions plans to secure the right quality level of parts to start production processes on time.– Management of the Supplier Excellence team, securing competency development and needed resources– Increase of quality knowledge and culture for supplier managementMaster’s degree in industrial engineering, you have 10 years minimum of successful experience in supplier management and team management, ideally acquired in automotive, nuclear or aeronautics industries. You also master quality and continuous improvement, ideally Lean/Lean Six Sigma methodologies.You possess relevant certifications for the role such as IATF, APQ, PPAP, APQP, VDA… and have been exposed to ISO in your past experiences.As experienced people manager, you are able to foster team work and coordination of different teams & organizations. You have concrete experience in defining strategic transformations in supplier management, managing top management relationships with a good level of autonomy.English fluent mandatory for this role, other european language such as french appreciated.This position requires business trips, up to 25% to 30% in europe.Let us learn about you!
