And, that’s something we’re truly proud of. Work That Matters, People Who Care.Job DescriptionWHAT’S THE JOB?The Supply Chain Specialist performs some or all the following duties:
- Assist in the implementation, and maintenance of new and existing supply chain processes
- Assist in the development of roadmaps that are in line with Dexterra Groups Inc’s competitive strategy and policies, for multiple categories.
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
- Identify cost savings and value-added opportunities for assigned categories.
- Identify and determine suppliers through RFX analysis and internal stakeholders’ requirements.
- Work predominantly with our Supply Chain Support Services, but also link with other business units, nationally and internationally, to establish where synergies and economies of scale exist.
- Analysis of existing and new industry trends within a given category.
- Participating in the seamless roll-out of category strategy initiatives across the organization that deliver results in-line with the category strategy.
- Develop and maintain supplier contracts
- Bring forward ideas for process improvements as it relates to Supply Chain initiatives.
- Relationship management with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support operational excellence across the organization related to supply chain initiatives.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
QualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Post-secondary education at an accredited University or College with a degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business or Commerce or commensurate experience.
- Advanced computer skills a must.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and with a proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- 3-5 years of foodservice contract experience
