OverviewThis is a non-regulated, B2B, corporate pension and employee benefits roleProvide timely and accurate support for Management in all aspects of workProvide data analysis support and processing for existing pension clientsWork with team to support and implement process efficiency and improvementsConduct project and research work, as directed, to support new business opportunitiesHow you’ll make an impact

  • Responsible for supporting pension data analysis and monthly processing, as part of existing pension processes
  • Anticipates and responds to the needs and objectives of the team, with a prompt and flexible approach to meet and exceed expectations and ensure consistent delivery of service
  • Provide proactive and effective support to Management in all aspects of their work
  • Develop effective internal and external relationships to assist in providing an efficient professional service and manage expectations on work being undertaken
  • Assisting with client meeting preparation, working closely with the team as necessary
  • Provide support in campaign management and meeting preparation (including liaison with providers and administration team; arranging meetings, preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, and attending client meetings when required
  • Proactively assisting with research for new business and development opportunities
  • Maintaining a diary management system that enables efficient oversight and intra-team workflow
  • Management of timescales to ensure all deadlines and service levels are met or management informed otherwise
  • Manage action points from meetings / matters arising
  • Carry out duties with our internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, including putting clients at the heart of our business

About YouEssential:

  • Good level of competence in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient in use of Excel and skilled in data manipulation

Desirable:Some experience of working in financial services, in particular in the area of pensions

  • Demonstrable experience within similar role in Financial Services, or office administration
  • Good customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Excellent organisation skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation
  • Focus on service excellence, going the extra mile and anticipating requirements
