We support adults in various settings such as residential, nursing, support and clinical facilities with daily tasks such as personal cares, companionship, and other complex needs. As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to aid and support individuals dealing with learning differences and complex mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being, independence, and recovery of clients. This role requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health issues.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all service users and expect all staff to share this commitmentThe Key Responsibilities of the job role:
·Provide one-to-one support and supervision to individuals.
·Aid all services users in need of assistance
·Promoting independence to residents with day-to-day decisions (clothing, bathing, choices of food etc)
·Work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals.
·Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes
·Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations
·Work closely in a holistic approach to care
·Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families.
·Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals requiring support.
·Advocate for clients’ needs and rights within the community and healthcare system.
·Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress.
·Implement crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
·Coordinate with emergency services when required.
·Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities-cinema, appointments etc
·
The successful candidate will have:
·MAPPA/NAPPI/RRIT (BILD accredited training provider)
·A minimum of 3 years employment history (Must have a minimum of 6 months UK care experience)
·The right to work in the UK
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·A passion to support and care for others

·Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
·Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
·Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations
