Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for Adult Support Worker (Supported Living). It is a unique project offering high standards of care to a young man with learning disabilities.Responsibilities:· You will assist with personal care needs and budgeting, as well as support with menu planning, shopping, cooking and domestic tasks.
· You will also provide support in accessing facilities within the community, including leisure activities and promoting independence.
· To work within the team and in partnership with others to ensure that this service is of a high standard.
· To undertake tasks which ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
· To take personal responsibility for own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace and service users.
· To take personal responsibility for achieving value for money where appropriate.Desirable:· NVQ in Care (Level 2) or Health and Social Care Diploma or Care Certificate.Essential:· Having the use of a car and a full driving license.Benefits include:· Holiday and sick pay entitlement.
