Supporting the file preparation process of the digital case file, to achieve the objectives of ensuring cases are progressed to CPS and through the court systems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Interrogate, maintain, and retrieve data/information using various computer and manual recording packages, accurately contributing to monitoring activities for own and multi-agency partnership purposes.
  • Receive, review, and record medical evidence requests and submit to the relevant hospital.
  • Monitor and manage medical evidence requests ensuring expeditious submission by negotiation with hospitals.
  • Receive, review, and monitor conditional cautions, notifying interested parties regarding conditions. Monitor compliance and institute breach process if non-compliance.
  • Provide advice and guidance to officers regarding process.
  • Process Digital Remand Files.
  • General admin duties including receipt and maintaining e-mails.

Eligibility:Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. The work can only or is more effectively delivered from a police premises or other agreed organisational/partner premises.Field: This applies to roles that do have a base, however, due to the nature of their duties is required to travel to other locations.
