We are responsible for the co-ordination, management, and strategic direction of the business’ recruitment across Early Careers and Experienced & Executive hiring. If you wish to sit at the heart of a collaborative and innovative organisation where you can make a positive impact daily, our team is where you should be!About the roleWithin Early Careers (EC), we focus on the recruitment of graduates and school leaves for our trainee programmes, which offer study support towards one or more relevant professional qualification(s), in addition to a variety of work experiences such as Work Shadowing, Internships and a Placement Year.As an Early Careers Specialist in events, you will be responsible for supporting the Attraction & Outreach team on a national scale. Working closely with the Early Careers Manager. You will help deliver and work towards the Talent strategy in line with our internal ‘grow your own’ and diversity agenda.Responsibilities

  • To support the design, delivery, coordination and attend careers fairs and events for our incoming student intakes.
  • Organise and schedule events Internally and externally, ensuring collaboration with the process team to ensure we are focussing in the most impactful areas.
  • Working with our Brand team to design and adapt content and presentations about RSM to prospective trainees.
  • Ensure delivery against D&I targets and support initiatives to attract a diverse talent pool.
  • Keep track and order merchandise nationally for internal and external events.
  • Providing robust reporting on success measures and producing updates to stakeholders internally about attraction events and the calendar of upcoming events.
  • Use the recruitment technology to store information and follow up on leads created in the recruitment system while ensuring full compliance of use by team.
  • Key interface with internal stakeholders and people to ensure they are correctly briefed on events and providing necessary event details to ensure a smooth process and line of communication.
  • Act as the champion for prospective trainee experience, ensuring RSM delivers an exceptional experience.
  • Build strong connections with the HR community at RSM to identify opportunities to improve service by gaining a deep understanding of the business lines and future growth plans.
  • Be an RSM brand ambassador, building a robust outreach strategy to connect and engage the talent, through schools/ universities etc. To book, coordinate, deliver and attend attraction events with the area of responsibility, work closely with the wider national early careers’ attraction strategy.
  • Coordinate the RSM brand ambassador programme with returning university placement students within your area of responsibility.
  • Ad-hoc projects as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established but creative team at an exciting part of the journey, working on a hybrid basis and reaping the rewards of being at home and in the office on a weekly basis. Whilst not an entirely remote position, this role affords good agile and flexible working. Due to the location of existing team members and business needs, ideally applicants will reside near one of the following offices:

  • Birmingham
  • Glasgow
  • Edinburgh
  • Manchester

You will also have the chance to visit other offices nationally but, wishing to minimise our carbon footprint, this will likely be occasional (up to twice a year).About the ideal candidateWhat we’re looking for:

  • In addition, a good knowledge of all Microsoft packages is required
