Job Summary

This is an individual contributor role focused on delivering talent acquisition expertise, without direct line management responsibilities.

The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition strategy and execution for our corporate offices. This includes proactive sourcing, employer branding, diversity and inclusion initiatives, candidate evaluation, offer negotiation, and talent analytics. Collaborating with hiring managers, HR partners, and finance teams across the EMEA region, the TA Manager ensures an efficient, inclusive, and high-quality hiring experience. Additionally, the role contributes to the regional Talent Acquisition roadmap by leading and supporting various projects designed to enhance recruitment processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Hiring Partner: Work closely with hiring managers across corporate offices in UK, Germany, UAE, South Africa, and other EMEA satellite locations to fulfill hiring plans.
  • Intake and Strategy Alignment: Lead intake discussions to clarify hiring requirements, develop sourcing strategies, define interview processes, and align on timelines.
  • Talent Attraction: Provide expert advice on attraction strategies and execute campaigns to enhance Marriott’s employer brand and attract top-tier talent.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Leverage platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking events to build robust talent pipelines.
  • Recruitment Tools: Utilise EMEA recruitment initiatives, tools, and systems to create targeted talent pools.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Screen candidates based on competencies, and alignment with organisational values, ensuring effective shortlisting and smooth interview coordination.
  • Offer Management: Advise hiring managers on offer recommendations, secure approvals in partnership with HR and Finance, and manage offer extensions and contract processes.
  • Inclusive Hiring Practices: Provide training and best practices, such as addressing unconscious bias, to support inclusive recruitment processes.
  • Diversity and Market Research: Research and implement strategies to attract diverse talent and candidates from non-traditional sources tailored to each market’s needs.
  • Program Implementation: Assist in rolling out programs aimed at enhancing talent attraction, development, and retention.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage Talent Acquisition Dashboards to guide hiring strategies, report performance metrics, and ensure data integrity within core systems.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, particularly in roles recruiting for Legal, Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing, or Operations.
  • Experience in the German or Dubai market is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects and driving process improvement.
