Using your recruitment expertise & brilliant project management skills, you’ll be splitting your time between finding, attracting and engaging the very best talent to join us, sharing your knowledge with less experienced members of the team and leading & delivering a range of Talent Acquisition projects.As a senior member of the team, you’ll role model a value add, consultative & commercial recruitment approach, truly partnering with our stakeholders. - Delivering a fair, transparent and inclusive recruitment service to a range of Hiring Managers, operating with credibility and offering advice and challenge as required.
- With a focus on continuous improvement, leading on Talent Acquisition / People projects. Looking for ways to improve our processes, services, systems and technology to drive a better recruitment experience for all.
- Utilising a wide range of sourcing tools from job boards and social media to talent pools and LinkedIn, continually looking at the most relevant and cost-effective options, whilst positioning Tesco Bank as an inclusive employer.
- Reviewing, developing and recommending assessment tools and techniques to ensure that we are best able to assess top talent whilst working with our wider People team to ensure hiring managers are equipped with the skills that they need.
- Designing and delivering or coaching others to deliver recruitment campaigns.
- Coaching and developing less experienced members of the Talent Acquisition team to achieve their full potential.
- Comfortable using data to illustrate your findings and help inform decisions.
- Entrusted ‘Go to’ team member in the team for all things Talent Acquisition related – best practice, policies and risk-based decisions.
- Deputise for the Talent Acquisition Manager where required.
What you’ll need
- Extensive end to end recruitment experience, preferably inhouse or in an RPO.
- Proven success in managing People/Talent Acquisition related projects with strong project management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels.
- Can demonstrate utilising creative talent attraction strategies and a direct sourcing approach to attracting candidates and building talent pools.
- Commercially aware with good understanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practise.
- Previous experience developing and managing recruitment campaigns including recruitment collateral.
- Good Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data to tell stories.
- Passionate about creating positive candidate, hiring manager and colleague journeys.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and thrives in a change-oriented environment.
- A sense of pride in your work and the level of service you provide, as well as a willingness to support and help your team and the wider business with recruitment-related projects and improvements, as required.
It’s not essential but we’d love you to have:
- SME knowledge of recruitment technology, preferably Avature or Workday or similar.
- Project management qualification or experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience in a role where you’ve had exposure to large scale transformations, mergers or acquisitions.
