A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and engaging Talent Acquisition Partner to join our expanding Team. Danny Sullivan Group is the leading supplier of skilled, professional labour in the UK, and has been serving the civil engineering, rail, transportation, and construction industries since 1986.Summary of the role:As our Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will play a key role in driving the internal HQ recruitment strategy, ensuring we attract and secure top talent across DSG. You will work closely with the Head of People & Engagement and hiring managers to meet the company’s hiring needs and contribute to the long-term talent strategy. You will lead initiatives in sourcing, assessing, and selecting candidates, handling candidates and overseeing their journeys with induction; also enhancing our employer brand and candidate experience.Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Proactively source candidates using multiple channels including social media, job boards, referrals, and networking events. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, with a focus on attracting diverse candidates for all open roles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and department leads to understand hiring needs and advise on recruitment best practices. Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market insights.
- Employer Branding: Work with the marketing team to promote DSG as an employer of choice. Develop content for the careers page, social media channels, and job fairs to enhance our employer brand.
- Candidate Assessment: Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure a strong fit for both technical skills and company culture. Facilitate interviews and coaching for teams on effective assessment techniques.
- Recruitment Data & Reporting: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire) to identify areas for improvement. Present findings in monthly/quarterly recruitment reports to the Head of People & Engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment policies, processes, and tools to improve the Talent Acquisition function and ensure candidate experience.
- ATS Management: Take ownership of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure it is effectively managed.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure a seamless and engaging experience for candidates from initial contact through to onboarding, in collaboration with the People Team.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and internal policies, maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
- During less busy periods, you will support the People Experience team in driving broader initiatives to further develop the role and support DSG’s growth.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience managing the full recruitment cycle across various roles and industries.
- Strong sourcing abilities with experience building and managing diverse talent pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with hiring managers at all levels.
- Familiarity with recruitment metrics and experience in reporting recruitment data.
- Experience with ATS management and using data to drive decisions.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for improving employer branding and candidate experience.
Output / Reporting:
- Provide weekly recruitment updates to hiring managers and department heads.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly recruitment analysis to the Head of People & Engagement, focusing on key metrics and insights.
- Act as primary communication with stakeholders regarding recruitment needs and challenges.
- Represent DSG at career events and job fairs to attract top talent.
Key Communication Channels:
- Regular interaction with hiring managers, department heads, and the executive team to align recruitment strategies with company goals.
- Collaboration with the People Experience and Marketing teams on employer branding and recruitment initiatives.
- Regular monthly reporting to the Head of People & Engagement on recruitment progress.
Expected salary
£38000 – 45000 per year
