Ground Control is seeking a talented and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the end-to-end recruitment process within our dynamic organization. As a key member of our People team, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our workforce in the areas of Rail and Infrastructure, Business Development and Ecology. For this role you will mainly be working from home with occasional travel to our head office in Billericay.What will you achieve?As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment life cycle, from understanding hiring needs to onboarding successful candidates.Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Manage a pipeline of recruitment needs, ensuring timely fulfillment against KPIs.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Source and identify potential candidates through headhunting and other channels.
  • Lead tailored recruitment campaigns to enhance Ground Control’s visibility among sustainability professionals.
  • Conduct the end-to-end recruitment process, including briefing calls, advertisement creation, candidate sourcing, interview processes, job offers, and onboarding.
  • Cold contact, source, and sift candidates to build a strong talent pool.

  • Previous recruitment experience in Rail and Business Development.
  • Headhunting experience using platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic environment at a fast pace, managing multiple urgent priorities.
  • End-to-end recruitment process management, including candidate compliance and onboarding.
  • Self-management skills and comfort working with ambiguity and constant change.

We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with:

  • Experience using ATS and HR systems.
  • Internal recruitment experience.
  • Recruitment experience within a maintenance/FM or service delivery business.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
