The Role & Key ResponsibilitiesJob Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technology & DataLocation: Hybrid / Peterborough Head Office (1 day per week)Are you an experienced tech recruiter looking for a role where you can partner with IT stakeholders to provide a high quality 360 recruitment service? This is great chance to add value to our business, by not only gaining an understanding of the talent required within our tech and data space but offering advice and knowledge on market trends and technology changes.Our TA team partners with the AB Agri IT function (known as Global Technology Services) which is made up of teams spanning Risk & Security, Data & Analytics, Information Systems and Business Partnering. We also provide recruitment services for our parent company Associated British Foods’ IT Shared Service function known as ABF Business Technology Services.AB Agri is a growing business and is digitising many of our processes and ways of working and we believe now is the time to create a specialist role in our TA team for someone to focus on Tech and Data hiring across GTS, BTS and all AB Agri businesses. Some of the roles you recruit for may be roles that support a Tech team or AgTech business such as finance or business support roles.As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will not only oversee recruitment within your allocated business units but also contribute to projects around Employer Value Proposition (EVP), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and continuous improvement.What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing recruitment campaigns: Conduct recruitment briefs with managers/HR, write engaging job adverts, design interviews that assess both technical skills and environment fit, participate in interview panels, and lead interview debriefs to select the best candidate and collate feedback, extend and negotiate offers.
  • Direct Sourcing and Talent Research: Source tech candidates directly, network and build a pipeline of candidates, perform talent research including talent mapping and labour heat maps, and conduct industry/company/biographical research. Explore and identify new and innovative routes to market.
  • Working closely with our Hiring Managers and HR teams to share talent insight and recruitment advice. Use our systems to take a data led approach to advice and guidance.
  • ATS system use: Use out in-house recruitment system eploy to the best of its capability to track, monitor and assess the quality and potential of all tech hires, ensuring that the attraction, selection, and assessment stages of recruitment support ‘raising the bar’.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Participate in our Inclusion & Diversity strategy, owning talent acquisition actions from the plan to increase the number of tech hires from underrepresented groups.

What you will bring:

  • Ability to work at pace and deliver on niche technical requirements in a diverse, global business environment.
  • Previous agency or in-house recruitment experience, preferably within the Technology space, partnering with senior and operational hiring managers and HR partners.
  • A successful proven history of creating inclusive tech recruitment campaigns and direct sourcing diverse talent.
  • Experience creating and using talent mapping, labour market heat maps, and other talent insight reports.
  • Experience recruiting tech talent internationally is beneficial but not essential.
