Hybrid requirement to be in-office 2 days per week currently.About the Role:In this role you will have the opportunity to support the development, retention and engagement of talent at Corus. You will be responsible for the administration of the learning and engagement platforms as well as for design, development and delivery of various learning content for the onboarding and skills development of all Corus people.You will contribute by:
- Administering and managing the learning management system (LMS), including loading of learning materials, managing enrollment and course assignments, tracking, reporting, troubleshooting, responding to employee inquiries and liaising with the vendor as required.
- Working with internal communications team to successfully promote learning sessions and events across the organization and maintain up-to-date and relevant learning, development and engagement content on the Corus intranet.
- Designing and developing learning materials for learning programs to develop core power skills for employees and to address skill and knowledge gaps.
- Working with subject matter experts to develop content and design e-learning courses for compliance-based and internally focused training.
- Managing the end-to-end planning and delivery of the twice-annual engagement survey process; including data file transfers, responding to employee inquiries and liaising with the vendor to troubleshoot technical problems; preparing senior leadership reports; designing and delivering resources to support leaders in taking action on engagement results.
- Supporting other processes and programs such annual performance process, talent review, career development, succession planning, leadership development, mentorship programs.
- Supporting research on program development needs and into HR and Talent best practices to support and inform the development of programs/initiatives.
- Monitoring program effectiveness, reporting and recommending improvements and solutions.
Skills and Experience you will bring:
- Completed education in Adult Learning, Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related field
- Demonstrated experience as a Talent Development and/or Learning Development professional or in a similar capacity
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning software (eg. Articulate)
- Experience with designing and delivering in-person and virtual presentations and learning sessions
- Experience with employee engagement survey processes
- Strong project management and organizational skills; experience managing multiple programs and projects at the same time
- A consummate team player who brings a passionate, positive and high-energy approach to client service and delivering results
- Highly effective working with and through others; possesses a truly collaborative style with an ability to effectively influence others through a thoughtful and tactful communication style
- Demonstrates agility and resilience in working in a fast-paced, changing environment; ability to navigate and work through ambiguity and complexity
- Exceptional communicator both written and verbal (facilitates training sessions both in person and virtually)
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Power Point, Share Point, Teams, Excel and Outlook), SharePoint and other software
