Here’s how your role will strengthen our team.The Team Lead, Accounts Receivables will oversee the day to day functioning of the accounts receivables team.Your responsibilities

  • Lead, support, plan, coordinate, and review the work of AR team as well as provide backfill support when necessary
  • Drive continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of AR process and procedures, including designing and maintaining controls
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to implement, communicate, and document new procedures
  • Oversee invoicing for contract progress draws, inter-divisional billings, and payment recordings
  • Monitor cash flow and collections, including assisting with collection follow-ups and escalating delinquent accounts
  • Ensure that internal and external AR deadlines are met
  • Manage month end reconciliations of general ledger and AR sub-ledgers, including credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Monthly reporting and tracking of AR KPI’s
  • Train new hires on full scope of their role and provide continued coaching as needed
  • Provide recommendations to the Director, Finance regarding staff issues, performance, and assist with yearly goal setting

Your experience and skills

  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivables
  • 2 years of experience leading a team
  • Strong Proficiency using MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of JDE or similar software system
  • Formal accounting training and knowledge and full understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Solid knowledge of the principles and practices of financial record keeping as it relates to AR
  • Highly organized work habits with ability to analyze, evaluate and problem-solve
  • Effective communicator with individuals at all levels within the company

Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
