About the job

The Team Leader Product Data Manager role coordinates and supports various work processes and projects within Global Marketing and Product Management focusing on Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Information Management (PIM).

Your tasks

• Lead a team focused on product data management based in Germany and Poland
• Lead the required change management workstreams and process for the function in partnership with the Head of PDM EMEA & Americas
• Harmonize SOP across business units, collaborate frequently with PDM colleagues in other regions, and work as one global PDM team
• Lead the evolution to best in class product data and information management for the function in partnership with the Head of PDM EMEA & Americas
• Creation, maintenance and processing of product and supplier master data according to specifications, supplied properties and product artifacts.
• Recording of product properties and proactive part maintenance and data updates
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally including outside and inside sales team members, product management, engineering, marketing communications, project management team, operations, and supply chain
• Independent and proactive processing of internal and external product data inquiries and the associated communications
• Support Brand partner requests by collaborating and communicating with Franke Sales team
• Actively engage and work with OEM partners to gather necessary product information, technical and sales documentation, price sheets and price quotes
• Support the OEM and Franke Product Management teams throughout the entire product life cycle with respect to equipment, spare parts, and smallwares/kitchen accessories, ensuring data is up to date and accurate.
• Manage sales price verification, PO price updates, and sell price execution and maintenance
• Engage and support gross profit reviews and audits in collaboration with Finance and Strategic Pricing
• Support ongoing and ad hoc data reporting in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Product Management
• Actively engage in process and product portfolio optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s  or University degree,
• experience in product data management and leadership preferred,
• attention to detail, action-oriented, and results driven
• proficient in fostering positive relationships with customers, suppliers/OEMs and internal stakeholders,
• moderate expertise in using analytical and BI tools,
• knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• strong communication skills, written and verbal,
• high mathematical skills – strong financial analytics skills and solid modeling skills,
• intermediate reasoning skills – moderate research and synthesis skills; be able to translate data into insights and actions,
• proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint,
• ability to international travel – up to 10%
